Privacy Policy

We collect only the information needed to operate your companion and the Saihi service:

• Account data: email, display name, authentication metadata.
• Companion memories you create, edit, or import.
• Conversations with your companion (text and voice).
• Voice transcripts generated during voice sessions.
• Uploaded files you provide to your companion.
• Imported AI history (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion, Obsidian, Apple Notes).
• Usage analytics (feature usage counts and basic performance metrics).
• Cookies strictly necessary for authentication and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use your data solely to provide companion functionality: memory creation, knowledge extraction, organization, search, voice interactions, recommendations, and features you request. We do not train external models on your private data without your explicit instruction.

When you import from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion, Obsidian, Apple Notes, or future supported sources, the imported content is processed only to create your companion’s knowledge base.

• Imported data is never sold.
• Imported data is private to your account and stored in your encrypted workspace.
• You may delete any import at any time from Settings.

Saihi enforces row-level security so every record is scoped to its owning account, encrypts data in transit (TLS) and at rest, and restricts administrative access to authenticated, audited operations. See our Security overview.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your data subject to a short audit/recovery window (placeholder: 30 days), after which records are purged.

You may export your data at any time from Settings → Data Ownership. You may delete individual memories, projects, conversations, files, or imports — or delete your entire account — from Settings. Account deletion permanently removes your companion, memories, projects, conversations, and imports.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights including the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Saihi may process and store your information in jurisdictions other than your own, including the United States. By using the service you consent to such transfers, subject to applicable safeguards.

We use trusted infrastructure and model providers, which may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Supabase, Resend, ElevenLabs, and others. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their portion of the service, under their own security and privacy commitments.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent, trade, or share your private data with advertisers.
